Tourism activity in several areas affected by the recent earthquake in Colombia is starting to return to normal.More than 90% of the impacted attractions in the Coffee Axis have already reopened, while most of the tourism entrepreneurs surveyed in the region maintain some level of operation.
Among the attractions that have resumed activities are Parque del Café, Panaca, and Ukumarí, according to information compiled by tourism sources.
The outlook among tourism providers also shows a progressive recovery.One week after the earthquake, a survey by ACOTUR found that more than 90% of the entrepreneurs consulted continued to operate: 63.6% normally, 18.2% partially, and 9.1% with some restrictions.
